The day began with Mass, the sounds of traditional African drums and Kora Harp blended with traditional western chants was an amazing experience. Later the monks showed us around their farm and explained that this provided them with an income to support their ministries.

After lunch we visited the Benedictine Sisters who welcomed us with music and flowers.  The room was filled with great joy as we shared our religious consecration - two different forms of religious life - one contemplative and the other apostolic, but our hearts were in harmony like the music from the strings of the Kora Harp.
