With great joy

The Sisters of the Unit of Mexico gathered with members of the Marist Family and friends to celebrate with joy the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the first community of Marist Sisters in Cerdon, France, and the anniversary of the arrival of the first Marist Sisters in Mexico forty-two years ago.

Another source of joy is that our candidate, Dulce Guadalupe Lopez Velazquez, has begun her pre-novitiate.

Sisters Cony and Norma have integrated very well into the pastoral care of the parish of El Señor de los Rayos in Mirador. They have started an accompaniment group for the elderly. It is the first time we have engaged in a pastoral ministry focused on the elderly.
