Marist Days in Bury-Rosaire
Fr Rafael Ramila sm organised Marist Days in schools in Bury-Rosaire which involves close to a thousand students aged 6-17 years.

The team included Sr Teri O’Brien (Jeanne Marie Chavoin Centre – Belley} three Marist Fathers (from Spain, Cameroon and Fiji) and three SMSMs (Marist Missionary Sisters – from Senegal, Italy and Madagascar). Presentations used objects from several countries highlighted the diversity of culture and the challenges presented in the life of the Marist mission today.
There is a wonderful Marist Spirit in these schools due to the efforts of Marists in Education formation in France.
Sr Teri writes,
“It was a real privilege to take part in these days and to renew ties with the administration staff, teachers and students.”

Le Rosaire was a Marist Sisters’ school until 1990 when Sr Marie Thérèse Terra worked to have the school come under the tutelage of the Marist Fathers.. The team stayed in Massabielle, near St Prix, formerly the novitiate till 1958 and the Marist General House till 1956. The Marist Sisters left Massabielle in 1996.
