After two weeks in Rome, we are now in France."

We were welcomed by the Marist Fathers in La Neylière, where we are enjoying the serenity and beauty that this wonderful place offers. We have visited Pradines, Coutouvre, Jarnosse, St. Bonnet le Troncy, Les Barbery.

On August 29th, the birthday of Jeanne Marie Chavoin, we had the privilege of being in Coutouvre. There we were welcomed by a friendly group of the local association. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Christian sm from Cameroon and we had the opportunity to visit the house where our Foundress, Jeanne Marie Chavoin, was born. After all this we shared a fraternal meal offered by the people of the association. This gesture confirmed to us how Jeanne Marie is still remembered and appreciated in her birthplace.

We also spent a day visiting the places associated with Saint Marcellin Champagnat: L' Hermitage, La Valla, Marlhes, and Le Rosey. Br. Paul fms from Madagascar and Br. Rafael fms from Brazil guided us through the historical centre and cemetery at L’Hermitage.

It is such a privilege to be walking in the footsteps of our Marist founders.
