Bringing Joy through Poetry
Sr Marie Berise has had the opportunity to use her teaching skills to present “Poetry Appreciation” sessions to the residents of St Joseph’s Hostel where Sr Marie also lives.
The residents have found Sr Marie Berise to be a very good leader. She encourages responses and insights and inspires them with her enthusiasm and love of poetry.
Since then, Sr Marie Berise and another resident work together each month to explore different poets and their work.
