A BUSY TERM AT MARIST PRIMARY SCHOOL
The Marist Primary School, Clogher Road in Dublin has had yet another busy term.
The Principal Sr Geraldine Campbell sm writes …
“We’ve had Confirmation, Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week), World Book Day, Trips to Trinity College, Science Week, Well-Being Week, St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Dance Performance, Swimming for Fourth Class and Sixth Class, Parent/Teacher and Board Meetings and First Confession. The priority is to get as much academic work done as possible, because in the next term, have First Holy Communion, Testing, School Tours, Sports Days and Graduations among other things.
In a Deis Band 1 School like ours, there are certainly many challenges. However, there are also fabulous and exciting possibilities. Our ambition is to lay the foundations for sound academic and professional achievement, for social, emotional and spiritual well-being and in the process, have lots of fun and make wonderful and amazing memories.
In our picture you’ll see an Easter Tree which was made for me by the students and staff in the Special Class for Children with Autism. It’s bright, colourful and hopeful. In that hopeful spirit, we wish you all very Happy Easter and Summer weeks and all that is good in the future. “
