West Africa Assembly 2024

The Sisters of Unit of West Africa met in Assembly from Friday 5 to Saturday 6 July 2024 in Farafenni, Gambia. The Friday opening prayer was led by Sr Amédée Kantoussan. They ended the assembly with a mass of thanksgiving for the Jubilee of Sister Amédée Kantoussan’s 25 years of religious life, presided over by Abbé Marcel Kantoussan, Sister Amédée’s brother.

This time gave the Sisters the opportunity to give thanks with her relatives and friends who have continually supported her «yes« in the congregation of the Marist Sisters. After they enjoyed a festive meal and cultural dancing. It was a wonderful time and they were glad that two of their aspirants and their three candidates could join them.
