Assisting Migrants and Refugees

Sister Joséphine, coordinator of CARITAS PARI (Welcome Point for Refugees and Immigrants), had the honour of taking part in the RESEAU MAGREB SAHEL meeting organised by CCFD, Terre solidaire, on the subject of immigration. The meeting was held in Senegal from 18 to 21 October.

The meeting was attended by the member countries of the network: Mauritania, South Africa, Mali, Niger, Cameroon and Senegal and allowed the group to discuss the following topics: the outsourcing of European borders, the rise of populism, women’s migration, dead and missing migrants and advocacy.
