Thanks and blessings as you go, Father Bill!

For a number of years now, the Via Aurelia community has been served by Fr Bill O'Donnell OMI. At the end of the month he is to return to his USA home province. Our farewell to him has happened in stages as different members of our community have left for other parts of the congregation.

Today Bill celebrated Eucharist in our chapel for the last time before his departure. Those of us still here took the opportunity to present him with a "rap" rhyme about the characteristics we most appreciate in Bill.

To Bill we wish to say: The Marist Sisters are deeply grateful for the service you have rendered and for the friendship we have shared. We thank our God for you and pray God's blessings upon you.
