‘MESSAGE BROUGHT BY THE ANGELS’
Christmas has always been a time for our communities to gather to celebrate this special feast with prayer, a marvellous meal, a gift or two, and also to offer blessings for the New Year. Needless to say, the best gift offered is the time we share together!
This year due to Covid, health challenges, and fewer daylight hours for travelling, the sisters in Lyons and Belley found another means to share joy, news, laughter and good wishes. It was indeed a moment to be remembered, our communities drawn by the spirit of Christmas and connected by Skype (origin of the name Skype: “Sky - peer to peer”.
It is not the first time the announcement of “The Birth of our Saviour” appeared in the Sky…by “angels”, two of ours are soon to be 98 years old”.
