Sr Beate had a lovely celebration!

Last weekend Beate celebrated 25 years of profession as a Marist Sister in the magnificently decorated chapel at Nympsfield. Beate says that the quote in front of the altar has guided and strengthened her throughout her whole Marist journey.

Carmel Reynolds, one of the participants recounts that on the evening before, there was great preparation. Beate, Fr Frank Wainright, of the diocesan ministry to priests, and Brother Norbert SM from Germany concentrated on the liturgy and engaged the Sisters in a choir practice. The staff, meanwhile, were creating a colourful and tasty Chinese banquet, Beate's choice.

In the midst of all this, there was the exciting arrival of Beate's three sisters from Germany - Mary, Annette, and Betty. And the celebratory fun and laughter began in earnest! 

The next day the Jubilee Mass unfolded beautifully and the meal was delicious from the first bite to the last. Carmel concludes: How generous is God in his goodness; we thank him.
