Our Sisters in the Philippines are committed to learning - for the sake of mission

Sr Edna Gado has completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at San Pedro College in Davao City! Her two years' commitment to this demanding study has been worth it. Edna is deeply grateful for the support of her Marist Sisters and others which has inspired her to keep going to the end.

Well done, Edna - we are so proud of you!

as you minister in her name.

Sr Lilibeth Cajes recently participated in a two-week Marist Formation Program for Finance Officers entitled: Economy at the service of charism and mission. Sponsored by the Marist Brothers and held at Notre Dame university in General Santos City, the course brought together 15 Marist Brothers from South Africa, Malaysia, Madagascar, India and the Philippines, three SMSMs missioned in Peru, New Zealand and Philippines, and one lay Marist from Sri Lanka as well as our Marist Sister.

Lilibeth found it a challenge to undergo the evaluation through exercises, case studies, workshops and project presentation. But she succeeded and is grateful for the learning gained in how better to sustain our mission.

No wonder she is smiling!
