Mutual learning about Filipino and Vietnamese culture

Truc and Hai from Vietname have been staying with our Sisters in the Philippines for some months now. Gradually they are becoming accumstomed to Filipino ways and to the Marist way as well. At Easter the community made part of their celebration more Vietnamese-style by eating out at a restaruant called "Little Nam". 

During the month of May, there is a Spanish tradition honouring Mary known as "Flores de Mayo" (Flowers of May). Sheila has accompanied Hai and Truc in a new venture, reaching out to some of the poor families nearby. It's a Ministry in May - Marist-style.
