A Wonderful Gathering of the Sisters
Just before Easter our Sisters in Ireland participated in an Assembly. Unit Leader, Vera Magee, writes:
Our gathering was positive, relaxing and uplifting. Our three presenters were life-giving The first, a nurse and a woman of deep faith presented ‘Journeying in Wisdom and Joy’. The second was Dr. Tony Bates, a psychologist, a follower of Merton. He had the privilege of spending time with Thomas Merton in his Lodge in Gethsemane. His title of his presentation was ’Awakening the Heart’. Finally, a Capuchin priest gave us input on prayer and celebrated our concluding Mass. We also had an excellent Marist overview on powerpoint of the past three years given by Miriam and Mary.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and the weather was like summer.
