A Celebration of Life!
100 years ago Sr Loyola was born in Ireland! Just over 80 years ago she was received as a novice in England. After a few years there she went to Australia, New Zealand and finally to Fiji in 1962. Loyola is still there!!! She has taught in school, accompanied young women in the early years of formation, ministered at the Nazareth Prayer Centre and generally has served as "confidante" to many. A great celebration took place at Nadi on the Big Day, 27 December. Many guests joined our Sisters including parishioners and friends, past students of Sr Loyola and the President of Fiji and his wife.
We thank our God for the long and fruitful life of our missionary Sister.
Congratulations, dear Loyola. We pray blessings on the rest of the your journey.
