Special Celebration
Towards the end of our time in Senegal we celebrated the Silver Jubilees of Profession with two of our participants. For Sr Salome of Fiji it was the actual anniversary of her profession as a Marist Sister and we anticipated the August anniversary of Sr Conceição of Brazil. Following the beautiful Eucharistic celebration, we processed into the dining room singing Magnificat with full voices and hearts. A wonderful festive meal awaited us, including the Jubilee cake and icecream!
Yes, Magnificat, dear Conça and Salome! We pray Mary's continued accompaniment of you both in every step of the adventures ahead.
