Farewell, Geraldine!
This afternoon we concluded our work early to farewell Geraldine, our participant from the Unit of Ireland. We were entertained with both African and Spanish dancing before joining in prayer by singing: I Arise Today, inspired by St Patrick. Sr Grace then gave Geraldine a star-shaped candle, missioning her to carry the light as she goes.
The whole group blessed Geraldine, as she prepared to return home "by a different path", forever connected to the Sisters in this Under 60s' group, to those Sisters who are ahead of her and to those who will follow.
