These last three days we have explored together the theme of Leadership and Resilience, through the medium of Scripture, ¨The Emmaus Journey, the film Of Gods and Men and the Chilean Mining Disaster of 2010.  The monks, the miners, the disciples and Jesus aided our journey!

What emerged, after much discussion and reflection, was the need to connect, really connect, with God, one another and the wider community and how important it is to see life as purposeful and change as necessary!

Like the disciples on the road, we sometimes need to be helped to accept reality, deepen our faith and to discover more creative life giving ways to act!  It’s great to know we can grow in resilience!
