Reflecting on Laudato Si' with Our Sisters at Villa Maria, Hythe
Anne McCabe reports that she, Silvia and Ann Ord, had a wonderful response from our Sisters in Hythe to a session combining shared prayer and input on Laudato Si'. She says:
Beginning with St Francis and Christ's request to 'rebuild my house which has fallen into disrepair' we continued on the theme of looking with new eyes at the wonders of creation..... looking with the eyes of God and the heart of Mary.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.... and the first Beholder is God.... who sees goodness, beauty and potential where we sometimes see unfinishedness, chaos and mess.
Silvia, Ann and I felt that this time with these wonderful, courageous, faithful women was truly precious.
