Congratulations

In March, Sean & Marcella Murray with their family and the Carrick-On-Shannon community, celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in the Convent Chapel. This was followed by morning tea, a lively chat and even a little dance session! 

This is significant as we celebrate 150 years of arriving in Carrick-on-Shannon. 

Sean is related to the late Sr Ann Catherine Murray, and some of the sisters in the early days of the community in Carrick.

Over the years Sean & Marcella have, and continue to be very supportive of the Carrick community.

We wish them continued health and happiness in the years ahead.
