 Christmas Miracle 

The joy of Christmas, a joy to be shared with all the world.  Our saviour is born.  In this case Sr Josephine decided once again to share this joy with the children of refugees and asylum seekers, children whom she meets in her work with CARITAS DAKAR.  She is in charge of the “Mother and Child” scheme with PARI the welcoming centre for desperate people who come to Dakar, hoping for a better life.  Often families are living on the street.

It was late November and Josephine was wondering where she was going to get the money to host a Christmas party for the children. 

An angel appeared (a kind benefactor) and on December 17^th forty children and their parents received their presents and had something lovely to eat.  Thank you so much to all who made this day possible.
