UNANIMA International Board Meeting

Sr Noelene Simmons represented the Marist Sisters at the UNANIMA International Board meeting was held in New York in late February.

During the meeting Executive Director,  Jean Quinn dw, reported on UNANIMA International's participation in COP 27 held in El Sheikh in November and in the Commission for Social Development at the UN in February.

A feature of this board meeting was a tour of the United Nations so that board members would have a better understanding of how UNANIMA International can contribute to the various events that take place. Sr Noelene was especially pleased to see the memorial to the victims of the transatlantic slave period.
