WE UNITE WITH UKRAINE
This is not news to anyone! Ukraine is being martyred and we feel powerless.
Yet in Lyon people are mobilising. Sr Marie-Therese Terra took this photo during a demonstration of support organised on the Place Bellecour. The testimonies of Ukrainians and many people from neighbouring countries, Georgia, Moldova, Chechnya, Poland and even Russia, were poignant. Thanks to WhatsApp we were in direct contact with Ukrainians in Kiev. Every day, trucks bring in medicines and hygiene materials brought in by the people. Let's unite our prayers so that this carnage stops!
