Celebrating Life!

Despite the bitter cold in Canada these days, the month of February started off on a joyful note of thanksgiving.

With the end of confinement in St Anne's Residence, Sr. Ghislaine could be with us to celebrate our Marist Consecrated life. After our "inside picnic" for lunch, Céline and Huguette had a zoom session with Bishop Champagne and the Religious of the diocese in the afternoon.

On the first weekend, we gathered around Gabriella, our beloved housekeeper and cook for her first birthday as a widow.

We also praised God for the fruitful lives of two very precious friends who passed away the same week. Sr Florida's younger sister, Mado, was a chiro for years and helped many of us with professional care. Adrien, Sr Simonne's brother-in-law was a true brother to us all as he faithfully shared the fruit of his garden each summer. May God bless them both with eternal rest!

Rejoice with us as, despite our fragilities, we enjoy fairly good health and are able to share our joy of being Marist and continue to serve and share our gifts, especially in prayerful silence.
