The Bishops' Conference, the Conference of Religious and the Jesuit Province of Mexico have called for a series of movements to pray for peace and an end to violence in the country, following the murder of two Jesuits in indigenous lands. Sister Mari Aranda and the three young women in formation took part in a Walk for Peace in the streets of Guadalajara, to join the day of prayer that several Non-Governmental Organisations organised to join the cause. They participated as part of the activities of the Justice, Peace, Integrity of Creation (JPIC) group of Guadalajara to which Sr Mari belongs.
