"Crossing Thresholds – Bearers of Hope" Sharing News of the General Chapter in France, Australia, England and Mexico
On Pentecost Sunday, the Sisters in France gathered in Belley for the transmission of the General Chapter. They were delighted to have Sr Grace Ellul join them. There could be no better time than the day of Pentecost to welcome the invitation to cross the threshold and be bearers of hope!
The following weekend, in Australia, Srs Gail Reneker, Kate McPhee and Noelene Simmons shared their reflections and presented the message of the Chapter and Sr Judith Lythall presented a pictorial overview of the Chapter.
The same weekend, in England, communities from Birmingham, Manchester and Walsingham gathered to hear news of the Chapter from Srs Anne Ord and Silvia Sanz de Diego. They all felt that the Holy Spirit had been truly present at the Chapter and rejoiced over the outcome.
On Sunday, July 10, the two communities in Mexico met in Assembly. During the gathering Srs Mari Aranda and Nayeli Mendez Serrano shared news from the General Chapter.
