General Bursar's Report

Sr Noelene presented a comprehensive report about the Temporary Goods of the Congregation for the period since the General Chapter 2015.

Unit Reports

We also had an opportunity to share and reflect on the Reports from each Unit.

Reflection Morning

After a week of listening and sharing on the various resports we valued quiet time  to reflect on what we had heard and received during the opening phase of the chapter.  We began to identify the thresholds our congregation is called to cross at this time.

Outing

On Friday afternoon we enjoyed a bus outing to Bracciano, just north of Rome.  After a picnic lunch at Lake Bracciano, we explored a huge castle, ‘Castello Odescalchi’ which was constructed in 1475 by the Orsini family.  

Future Direction

We have been engaged in reflections, sharing, and looking together at possible thresholds which need to be crossed and  would be the focus for our congregation in the next seven years.

    

Ritual for the Outgoing Leadership Team

On Sunday evening we gathered to pray in thanksgiving for our General Team 2015-2022.

 It was a very moving and powerful liturgy which highlighted not only our sense of the whole but also our life of gratitude for the important service of our Congregational leadership team.  

Celebrations

We have also gathered to celebrate the birthdays of Srs Innocence (West Africa) and Kate McPhee (Australia) as well as the feast of St Peter Chanel.  It is an opportunity to relax and share life and to know each other more deeply.
