On 24 October, the SMSM celebrated the 175th anniversary of the journey of Marie-François Perroton for Oceania.
Bishop Le Gal, Bishop of Lyon, celebrated the mass which was attended by several Marist Fathers. Some members of other branches of the Marist Family were present.
Sister Marie-Thérèse, accompanied by the Sisters of the community of Rue Sala and Denise and Teri from the community of Belley joined in this beautiful celebration.
On behalf of the members of the General Team and the Sisters of the Lyon community, Sister Georgeanne Marie Donavon, the Superior General, received a beautiful little globe from Sister Marie-Thérèse Tera. It is a symbol of their departure and their new departure to the other side of the world.
It was good to be together again after so many months of confinement for such an important occasion.
