The Merrylands community gathered to renew their vows on September 12. They have been in lockdown since June 25. It was impossible to come together physically with Srs Julia Lourey, Sr Veronica Taylor and Sr Therese Campbell who live in residential aged care. Srs Bev Lewis and Judith Lythall gathered and lit a candle for each of the sisters in community. Srs Julia, Veronica and Therese were able to connect by phone and together they joined in prayer and renewed their vows before concluding with the Salve Regina.
