Blessings on the new ministry of our Sister Linda!
From Manresa Jesuit Retreat House in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, USA:
Welcome to the team, Sister Linda!
We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Sr. Linda Sevcik, SM as Manresa's new Executive Director, effective February 1, 2021. Sr. Linda is well acquainted with Manresa and Ignatian spirituality and has directed conference retreats here for the past seven years. A Marist sister, she has served in various leadership roles within her community.
Sr. Linda received her Master's in Education from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome; she is a licensed clinical professional counselor. Her ministerial experience includes teaching, counseling and spiritual direction. Her focus is how best to help people in ongoing spiritual and human growth and the integral connections between these.
Please join us in welcoming Sr. Linda and please keep all of us in your prayers that we may continue to serve well all who come to Manresa.
