With gratitude to God for many years of service as Marist Sisters

The Unit of Aotearoa New Zealand began their annual assembly in the evening of the 23^rd April and ended on the 25^th April with the celebration of a special mass for the Jubilees of Sisters Gemma Wilson and Karin Christieson.  Sr Karin was celebrating 70 years of  Marist Life while Sr Gemma 60 years. Father Pat Breeze SM was the main celebrant in the Holy Eucharist. After Mass they gathered for a meal, before adjourning to the community room where they continued to rejoice as they shared  memories and stories about their life.  The jubilarians  opened some gifts from communities in the Unit before enjoying the Jubilee cake. What a joy-filled and blessed occasion!
